Our Storytellers

At Linc we work as a team with every member playing a valuable part in creating our story. Being on the Board means that you will play a crucial role in developing that story, being innovative and pushing the boundaries to drive Linc forward. You will also work alongside other committees and the Tenant Panel, who are responsible for decision making, monitoring and scrutiny of Linc’s services.

Some Great Feedback

“Our Elders rely on us to provide care, no matter the circumstances, and you all certainly rose to the challenge. Your hard work and commitment are much appreciated, especially when it keeps you away from your families and loved ones during an unprecedented weather. A heartfelt thank you to all staff who went above and beyond the call of duty today to make sure we were all adequately staffed at Capel Grange to care for our Elders.”

Edgar BautistaNursing Home Manager

“ By knowing of and caring about her tenants, Justine has been instrumental in referring tenants, four of whom are looking forward to starting on an eight-week training course next week which will help to provide them with skills matched jobs.”

Shelly LeonardCommunity Regeneration Officer

“Wendy the housing officer is approachable. Whenever there is a problem she deals with it. She keeps me in touch with other people.”

Feedback from a tenant

“They listen to your problems. They’re nice people on the phone. I was struggling to pay rent and they helped.“

Feedback from a tenant

“Everybody I spoke to – from all age groups and different aspects of the event – felt very moved by the experience of being present at the Senedd today and I have received many compliments on both the song and its performance.”

Part of a letter from Steel Remembered Research Group

“I cannot tell you how proud I am of every member of staff at Penylan House for making it a place where people feel safe, cared for and listened too. Feedback from residents was excellent, relatives couldn’t praise the staff enough – this all shone through when the inspectors spoke to people as part of their in-depth inspection.”

Celebrating Our Successes

“The Tenant Panel get involved in monitoring and scrutinising Linc’s performance. We share ideas from a tenant’s perspective and have a say in the development of policies and strategies. We value diversity, openness and transparency, and working together. The panel hold Linc to account to ensure they deliver a great service.”
